Captain Malak Kabir
Grizzled and greying, Captain Malak Kabir is commanding officer of the Ka-Tepi town Guard. He is approaching retirement age but reluctant to step down until he is sure the Guard is in good hands.
He is known to be tough but fair. If he has a known flaw, it is that he is merciless to those he knows to be truly guilty. He is notably cruel to wrongdoers.
