Labal and Abalam were two elevated divine shards who served the Dragon King of Wind Paimonia. Prior to the Cataclysm they led the Sperion Republic before turning it over to the first Bayemon Council. From there they would fly to their master's side and ultimately meet their fate at the hands of Lucifer.
Holidays
February 14th marks the Heart and Soul Festival in Sperion. A festival for love both romantic and platonic, it falls on the day of the country's founding. Puppets of Labal and Abalam are often sold in street markets leading up to and on Heart and Soul Day, and the two are seen as testaments to Paimonia's love for humanity.

Special abilities
Being pieces of the King of Wind Paimonia, Labal and Abalam were capable of manipulating Odic wind at great capacities. Though their abilities paled in comparison to their master's, legends tell that Abalam once singlehandedly redirected a great cyclone forged by Paimonia as a test of his power.

Personal history
According to the myths surrounding the creation of the Sperion Republic, Labal and Abalam were forged from the heart and soul of Paimonia, respectively. Their task was simple: to guide the people of Sperion to achieve a life of success and happiness. While their master governed the skies they directly raised the fledgling country as it blossomed into a true world power.
When the Cataclysm began, Labal and Abalam turned control of Sperion over to the Bayemon Council before rushing to Paimonia's side on the battlefield. When the two were slain by Lucifer, the Morning Star, their spirits allegedly returned to Paimonia and allowed him to do battle with his former master for days on end.
