Hidden Lifelight

The most mysterious of all seasons, also called the "nine months of night," hidden lifelight is a time during which the Lifelight overhead simply vanishes, plunging Sturth into darkness. Oddly, temperature is largely unaffected and remains within a comfortable range, similar to Everbloom. The lifelight is simply absent from the sky for a long while as the days grow colder.
There are many theories as to why this occurs, from a curse placed upon Sturth by The Maledict to the malfunctioning of an ancient artifact somewhere in Nesfaolo. Whatever the case may be, things that thrive at night are free to roam during this season, and all the while locals prepare for the long cold of Demonbite.
