Lifelight

The lifelight is what people of Sturth call their binary star, the equivalent to the sun on Earth. However, the lifelight is not a single star, but two stars in close proximity, forever caught in a cosmic dance as they push and pull, one never quite enveloping the other.
Between the two stars, individually called Oa and Ao, there stretches a bridge of light, which many believe to be the divider between life and death.
