Baxton Find, Mr (a.k.a. The Hand's Right Thumb)
Baxton Find, also known as "The Hand's Right Thumb", is a middle aged Human Merchant. Raised on the road by his family, he settled down in Havenport after losing the use of his legs in a raid on one of their caravans. Despite the set back, Baxton did not let his disability slow him down, instead becoming a proficient accountant and near indispensible member of The Golden Hand, the primary trade organisation in Havenport.
At the age of thirty, he was selected to become the representative for The Golden Hand on The Havenport Conglomerate, a position he eagerly accepted. Despite being the youngest member of the council, he has actually been there the longest out of all the current Councellors, and is arguably the most experienced in the matter of running the city out of all of them.

Personal history
Baxton was born on the roads between cities, his mother claiming that he waited until they were exactly halfway between two small towns before forcing the caravan to stop and allow her to give birth. He was raised on the roads, his toys being gold pieces and abacus', his clothes being traded and bought as he grew up. As such, he had very little attachment to any physical items, except for the scarf his mother wove for him, which he still wears to this day.
At the age of fifteen, Baxton was escorting a trade caravan from the city of Goldshire when it was attacked by bandits. While the guards were able to drive the scoundrels off, Baxton suffered an arrow to the spine, paralysing his legs. Despite his parents and many healers numerous attempts, he was never able to recover the use of his legs, leaving him bound to a wheelchair for the rest of his life.
Fearful that his new disability would see him become little more than a burden on his family, Baxton threw himself into learning the ins and outs of the Merchant trade even harder, becoming a skilled negotiator and shrewd business man in the process. He was picked up by a high ranking member of The Golden Hand at the age of twenty, and quickly rose through the ranks of the organisation. At the age of thirty, he was selected by popular vote to become the next representative of The Golden Hand on The Havenport Conglomerate, a position and responsibility he eagerly accepted.
Now he has been a member of the council for over fifteen years, an unprecidented period of time, and is one of the, if not the most, experienced Councellor.
