Invi'dyah Incursion, Deluge in the desert

The Praetorians of the Death Guard had gained a foothold on the outskirts of an abandoned and decaying smelting facility after their conquest on Rotaria. They opened several portals for the denizens of the Plague father to pour into realspace with the Dark Angels having been delayed on the Rotarian front.
The Dark Angels 3rd Company and Deathwing were able to land and establish a perimeter near a fortified bunker close to the barracks that held the previous guard force. Only hours had passed since the had landed the Daemon tide and Plague Marines pushed out from their entrenched positions.
The Eater Plague himself was first into the fray, flying up and devouring a scout squad atop ruins at the center of the theater as Nurglings flanked the Intercessor and Hellblaster Squads within the building alongside the bunker. The main bulk of the Death Guard force advancing down the middle of the ruined causeway to get to the Dark Angels HQ positions.
As the Eater plague advanced, threatening the next intercessor squads he was halted by a hail of plasma fire from a hellblaster squad atop the Dark Angels position, almost scattering him to the warp. The Chaos predator returned fire on the squad while advancing on their positions. A bloat drone charged passed the demon prince to eliminate all but the sergeant of the west most intercessor squad.
A brave group of Nurglings took the fight to some of the Imperiums shiniest arms and best trained arms bearers. They were unmercifully returned to the warp, but not before slightly nibbling the seniority of the Dark Angels chapter.
Daemon engines took volley after volley of Hellblaster overcharged fire and eventually succumbed to the viscous onslaught of the first chapters plasma brutality, but not without losses.
The Nurgle Plague Hulk and Greater Unclean One fired on the Dark Angels positions from afar but were unable to advance up the field as the Dark Angels pushed out from their positions and occupied the now caught out Death Guard Forces.
A stunning flank from the Deathwing Knights managed to occupy the Praetorians on two fronts, severely diminishing their offensive capabilities and allowing the Dark Angels HQ to push back the daemontide.
