Stradus PL47 (Kingsholme)

Stradus PL47, located below Cicatrix Maledictum between the Rock and Lastrati. Being central to the forces moving from Cadia to Ultramaar the system has seen a higher amount of traffic from the forces of the Imperium and Chaos.   Previously a Feudal ruled system from the planet Kingsholme, by a local lords, the Imperium has had control of the sector for the past 2,000 years. Garrisons on each agri-world and a larger installation on Kingsholme itself protect the system as a whole. The System has seven habitable planets composed primarily of four agri-worlds the garden world Kingsholme and two surveillance outposts on the systems edge.   In the past few months there have been notable signals coming from the galactic north. Several ships have been lost attempting to scout the area and assistance from the Astarte's has been requested by the local imperial guard forces.   Two weeks ago an unidentified object landed on Stradus Prime, first of the agri-world in the system and the one with the largest regiment of Imperial guardsmen. Several Astarte's landing craft have landed and hailed the facility housing the artifact recovered from the crash site.   Stradus PL47 is set to be receiving several large ships of refugees from the fallen Cadia sector, the guard regiments in the local system being Cadian themselves. Talk of the failing imperium being the ailment responsible for their fallen homeworld.   The ships are due any week now but as the navigators are unable to send or receive messages, local authorities are fearing the worst.
