Maegar Varn
The lowborn mayor of Varnhold and leader of the Varling Host. He has poor fashion sense and appears roguish, but he's honest, humble, friendly and polite. While an experienced military leader of the Varling Host, he has a lot to learn about politics, and is suitably overwhelmed with the level of responsibility in establishing a new kingdom.
He has a good relationship with Jamandi Aldori, who trusts him after all the jobs he has done for her. One of these jobs involved dealing with troublesome monsters in the Valley of Fire.
Maegar Varn was captured and lobotomized by Vordakai in 4712, but Pharasma allowed his resurrection by Avarice Skjegge and Kiin. Not only was he able to come back, his soul was waiting for the opportunity.
