Greengripe
A Goblin fortress in the Sellen Hills. It is situated on a hilltop, surrounded by 10' palisades with a ramshackle gate flanked by watchtowers. Most of the buildings consists of tents, but a forge resides in a small but robust stone building. An adjacent stone statue of Lamashtu is covered in new growth of First World vegetation, though the statue itself is old.
Cult of the Bloom Influence
The settlement's chieftan, Muglund, ruled for many years before being replaced by some creature which immitated his appearance. This happened around the time the Cult of the Bloom became active. The fake Muglund warned the Goblins to be wary of "violent longshanks" and to not drink from the river. He also ordered Zangel, the town's smith, to make gear for each member of the village. This made Zangel suspicious and he warned other Goblins that he had gone mad. A group from Ornisk was easily able to convince guards of the presence of an evil cult and gain access. With Zangel having spread distrust, the rest of the Goblins allowed the group to confront and kill Muglund. After death his corpse expanded and changed appearances to a pale, lanky creature with a featureless face. Maybe not a Changeling, but a similarly capable creature. Outraged at the false Muglund's deception, the village promised to investigate and try to find the actual base of operations for the Cult of the Bloom. They also interpreted Muglund's warning about The Land of the Silver Star as a piece of bad advice, and upon discovering the base of operations, they approached Ornisk to share that knowledge.Integration into The Land of the Silver Star
Despite helping each other with the Cult of the Bloom, the Goblins of Greengripe typically engage in raiding and pillaging to survive. The Silver Star pressured them into stopping their raids with the understanding that they would be allowed to join the nation. This has not yet happened, as The Constellation is trying to convince their citizens that this will be beneficial to all.
