Neon
Neon
A smooth talker and skilled liar, a natural performer, and despite everything that has happened to her, a fierce scrapper like any White Fox , Neon is a quintessential rebel. From smuggling meds to supposedly tagging the biggest Martian Defense Front building in N-Pole, she has a long list of skills, but has never been seen in action to prove it. Since N-Pole’s Warehouse Riot, Neon has been largely inactive in the organization, coping with the mental strain of her flight from Mars. However, following copious therapeutic measures, she has become more willing to utilize her fiction generation engine and knowledge of less than legal affairs for Stellar Concerns. Neon has the potential to make for an invaluable crew mate, so long as she tempers her belief that a knife in the throat is the best measure to take against every kind of tyranny, consequences be damned.
"Took a long time for Neon to start showing herself around deck, and then even longer before she stopped looking like she wanted to rip out my throat. All and all, seems alright." - Dayičin
Physical Description
Identifying Characteristics
Neon is a dimensional infected, and after heavy cosmetic surgery she looks even more outlandish than a typical one would. Her violet skin is shot through with cyan tattoos that glow and pulse with light, and magenta hair falls long and tousled to her midback. Twisted, curving horns sweep back from her brow, and her tail is forked. Unusual for dimensional infected, large bat-like wings sit high on her back. Her eyes are pure yellow, with no pupil.

Personal history
Born in one of the many White Fox safehouses of N-Pole to an affiliated infected sex worker, Neon (born Karina Lyall) has gang loyalty in her blood. From a young age she took up her gang’s cause, running smuggled goods and defacing public property with illegal art. In her early twenties she and two friends started the band ‘The Low Roar,’ a punk rock group with a heavy anarchist and anti-authoritarian lean. The Low Roar had a sizable following, and Neon, as the frontman, also did by extension. Neon’s reputation for seditious sentiment led to the Warehouse Riot, in which Neon’s calls for the fall of the MDF during a concert brought down military enforcement, killing several infected attendees and arresting many more to quash the unrest and forcing Neon into hiding. The MDF retaliated with a publicly televised execution of a stand-in who looked like the disappeared would-be rebel. Frightened, aware that keeping her company meant death for anyone seen with her, Neon sought a way off of Mars rather than find shelter with the Foxes. Trading her body’s sanctity by taking on an experimental fiction generation machine, Neon received extensive cosmetic surgery to slip without suspicion away from N-Pole, and was found by Fortuna at a spaceport seeking a ride off planet.
