Chieftain's Council

The Chieftain's Council was a mere hundred years ago an outrageous idea for the natives of Saint's Rest. Too spread out, the nomadic tribes of the planet had no reason to infringe upon each other's lands and even less reason to work together. The Winter Pox and the subsequent colonization of the planet by The Unity Church outsiders forced the tribes of the planet to unite in some shape.
The Chieftain's Council is currently working to have the indigenous peoples of Saint's Rest recognized as a nation, enabling them to sue for land rights and to get some legal ground against the colonizers taking wide swaths of their planet. This is continually frustrated by consistent claims by the Prophet's Council that the Chieftain's Council is connected to brutal attacks on their farms and ranches.
