Aegis Fields

Aegis Fields refers to multiple stretches of unsettled grasslands surrounding the Aegis Region. With open, breezy meadows and easy access to water, the fields serve as a safe zone from nearby hazards like The Dead Forest and Neira Pass. Although there are not many roads or trade routes, lone travelers frequent the fields. The fields are officially a neutral zone, open to any clan willing to put in the resources for settlement.

Geography

Due to their preserved natural state, and proximity to The Dojo , the Aegis Fields are saturated with spiritual energy. Effects of this energy have been observed to promote Healing. The fields are also highly reactive to life treading upon it, and may drastically change color in spite of the current season. The contrasting energy between Aegis Fields and the nearby The Dead Forest thus produces a "push and pull" effect on the climate, similar to the waves of the ocean.
