Tripudium
A year is measured in the amount of time that it takes Stella Terram to orbit the sun along the path of the Coelicola, also known as the tripudium.
The ludiorum is a belt-shaped region that extends across the tripudium, and is divided into 18 equal parts (“ludius”), each around 20 degrees of celestial longitude. These ludii each correspond to a constellation, or home of one of the coelicola.
The start of each ludius is commerated with a day of ludi, dedicated to the home coelicola. For the rest of the ludius, the prodesse labour undertaken by the people is usually dedicated to the domain of that particular coelicola.
Each ludius, or month, is 21 days long, and they are grouped into 6 seasons, which correspond with the climate changes. Each season is celebrated with a four day ludi in the middle of the season.
