Naneth

Naneth, the Chaos of Creation

Naneth, the Chaos of Creation, also known as 'The Mother of Chaos' and 'The Matron of Chaos' was the goddess of the chaos and creation. Naneth is usually atributed to be the co-creator of the known world, in union with Adar, the Order of Creation.   According to the ancient sources on the creation of the world, Naneth's form has shifted into that of the plane of 'Tel'Nief'. This suggests that the chaotic plane of endless creation is not only her own divine realm, but also that the this divine realm is made up completely of Naneth's very own essence. Because of this, the plane of Tel'Nief is considered to be one of the purest and holiest planes in existence.

Divine Appearance

Naneth is often described by those that have had the luck of witnessing her presence as a young, motherly figure with an intense passion for the arts and crafts.   She is said to be the perfect image of an elven woman, with luscious auburn hair, eyes as green as emeralds, skin as toned as bronze and sleek, long ears that reached far behind her head. With the slim body of a dancer, the description and ultimate depictions of Naneht often stand to serve as the ideal for elven feminine beauty.

The Plane of Tel'Nief

While worshippers of Naneth are still able to draw on the powers and blessings that she grants, Naneth is not directly concerned with the goings on of those that live on any other plane than the plane of Tel'Nief. Within this plane however, she fully dedicates her conscience to creating her grand designs and meticulously detailing them.   When the moons of the world align and the veil thins, it is sometimes possible for rifts in the fabric of the world to open to the plane of Tel'Nief. This allows some of Naneth's creations, or the abhorrent byproducts of those creations to be set free onto the material plane.
