Adar, the Order of Creation
Adar, the Order of Creation, also known as 'The Lawfather', 'Patron of Structure', 'Pillar of Order' and 'Grandpa Time' was the god of Creation, Justice, Order and Time. Adar is usually atributed to be the co-creator of the known world, in union with Naneth, the Chaos of Creation. In most ancient sources, Adar is described as a dilligent god with little imagination. However, what he lacks in imagination he is said to make up for in arranging the creations of Naneth and reshaping the chaotic threads that she produces into magnificent structures built with rules and laws created by especially for them.
Divine Appearance
There exist many descriptions of Adar's form within ancient sources, as he often apppears as a perfectly shaped male of an ambiguous species depending on the culture that recounts his appearance. However, much more clearly Adar is regularly described as a large serpentine dragon made from metal leaves and metal cogs. This serpentine form often encircles the world in stories to prevent it from overflowing with chaos. Undoubtedly this form is one of many of Adar's avatars, however this leads scholars to believe that he might also be the ancestor or creator of metallic dragons.
The Plane of Ri'Kess
While Naneth might have created the plane of Tel'Nief with her own essence, Adar instead opted to shape his divine realm known as the plane of 'Ri'Kess' into a clockwork heaven and the utopian wet dream of architects and engineers. Here, Adar and his ensemble of followers mostly concern themselves with arranging the blueprints of every creation in the known world into neatly ordened and categorised archives. Visitors to the clockwork heavens are often invited to share their knowledge and witness certain marvels of it. However, getting into Ri'kess is a long and tedious process and only those handpicked by Adar's trusted ensemble are allowed to enter it. Any who find themselves on the plane of Ri'Kess without the proper authorization are hunted down by the many clockwork guardians that protect the plane and its host from invasions.
