Terran Alliance Kibari Defense Treaty

The United Terran Alliance and the Galactic Kibari Confederation

Purpose

The purpose of this treaty is to establish a strong bond of friendship and mutual defense between the United Terran Alliance and the Galactic Kibari Confederation, and to ensure that both parties are able to respond quickly and effectively to any threats to their security and well-being.

Article I: Mutual Defense

The United Terran Alliance and the Galactic Kibari Confederation hereby agree to come to each other's aid in the event of an armed attack by a foreign power.
This assistance may include, but is not limited to, military forces, intelligence gathering, logistical support, and other forms of assistance as deemed necessary by the party under attack.
Both parties agree to take all necessary measures to coordinate their defense efforts, including regular consultations between high-level officials and joint military exercises.
In the event of an armed attack, the party under attack shall promptly notify the other party of the situation and request assistance.
Both parties shall maintain the confidentiality of any information shared between them regarding the security of their respective territories.

Article II: Civilian Assistance

In the event of a natural disaster or emergency situation, both parties agree to provide each other with humanitarian assistance and aid as deemed necessary.
This assistance may include, but is not limited to, medical supplies, food and water, shelter, and other forms of aid as deemed necessary by the party in need.
Both parties agree to take all necessary measures to coordinate their relief efforts, including the establishment of joint emergency response teams and the sharing of information and resources.
Both parties shall prioritize the safety and well-being of civilians, and shall take all necessary measures to avoid harm to non-combatants in the course of their relief efforts.

Article III: Termination

Either party may terminate this treaty with prior notice of 30 days.
Termination of this treaty does not relieve either party of its obligations to assist the other in ongoing conflicts or emergencies.
In the event of a termination, both parties agree to work together in good faith to minimize the impact on ongoing operations and to ensure a smooth transition.

Article IV: Ratification and Entry into Force

This treaty shall enter into force upon ratification by both parties.
This treaty shall remain in force for a period of ten years, unless extended by mutual agreement.
This treaty may be amended or modified by mutual agreement of the parties, with the changes to take effect upon ratification by both parties.
