Kibar

Kibar is the crown jewel of the Volarii Star System, and is the homeworld of the Kibari, a sapient species native to the planet. The planet's surface is covered by vast oceans, verdant forests, and majestic mountains, with several small deserts and polar ice caps at the poles. Kibar has a temperate climate, with warm summers and cool winters, and is notable for its blue skies and clear, fresh air.   There is a prevailing theory among some scientists and historians that the Ancient Kibari may have originated on a different world and migrated to Kibar at some point in the past. The reasoning behind this theory is the fact that despite Kibar's abundance of natural resources, the Kibari have opted to leave the vast majority of them untouched, relying instead on advanced technology and sustainable practices. Most minerals and resources that the Kibari use are extracted from asteroids and other celestial bodies within the Volarii System, such as Rylos and Nylor. While there is no concrete evidence to support this theory, it remains a topic of debate and speculation among scholars and scientists.

Geography

The planet's geography is varied, with dense forests, sprawling grasslands, rolling hills, towering mountain ranges, and vast expanses of water covering the planet's surface. The Kibari have built their cities on the grasslands and plains, where the land is relatively flat and easy to build on.   Kibar has several large mountain ranges that run along its equator, which are home to some of the planet's most spectacular vistas. These peaks are covered in snow and ice year-round, and are home to a variety of unique animal species that have adapted to the harsh mountain environment.  Kibar has several active volcanoes that dot its landscape, including one particularly massive volcano that towers over the planet's largest continent. These volcanoes periodically erupt, spewing ash and lava across the surrounding landscape and creating new landforms over time.   Kibar has large expanses of dense forests that cover much of its landmass. These forests are home to a wide variety of flora and fauna, including towering trees, lush undergrowth, and all manner of creatures, from small mammals to giant predators. The Kibari have lived in relative harmony with these forests for millennia.   Kibar has several large oceans that cover about 70% of its surface area. These oceans are teeming with life, from small plankton to massive sea creatures, and are a vital part of the planet's ecosystem. The Kibari have developed advanced technologies to explore and exploit these oceans, using submarines and underwater habitats to study the creatures and ecosystems that thrive beneath the waves  Kibar also has many rivers that flow from the mountains to the sea, carving deep valleys and gorges as they go.   Despite its lush forests and snow-capped mountains, Kibar also has several large deserts that cover much of its southern hemisphere. These deserts are home to a variety of unique plant and animal species that have adapted to the harsh, dry environment.

Fauna & Flora

Kibar's biosphere is incredibly diverse, with numerous species of plants, animals, and fungi. The planet's forests are particularly rich, with towering trees and dense underbrush that provide shelter for countless species of animals and insects. Kibar is home to several species of large mammals, including the Kibari themselves, which are intelligent, bipedal female humanoids that have possess an uncanny resemblance to humans.
