Earth

Earth (also known as Terra or Sol III) was a terrestrial planet located in the Milky Way galaxy. It was the third planet from its star, the Sun , and it was the only known planet to harbor life in the Sol Solar System .   Earth was a diverse and varied world, with a wide range of ecosystems and environments. It was home to millions of species of plants and animals, many of which were found nowhere else in the universe. The planet's atmosphere was composed of 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen, and trace amounts of other gases, and it was protected by a magnetic field that shielded it from harmful solar radiation.   Human beings, a species of primates, evolved on Earth around 300,000 years ago. They developed advanced societies and cultures, and made significant technological and scientific advancements.   However, in 2411, a catastrophic event occurred that changed the course of Earth's history forever. The supernova explosion of Betelgeuse, a nearby star, caused a massive wave of radiation to sweep through the galaxy, devastating Earth's ecosystem and rendering the planet uninhabitable.   In order to survive, humans were forced to evacuate to the stars, establishing colonies on other planets and moons throughout the galaxy. Despite their efforts to preserve the memory of their home world, the specifics of Earth's history and culture were lost to the passage of time, and it became a distant memory for the scattered remnants of humanity.   Today, Earth is remembered as a lost world, a place of wonder and mystery that will always hold a special place in the hearts of those who were forced to leave it behind.
