The tash kirel share a planet with the raishuten, who traditionally live on the opposite side of the planet. but the raishuten are curious and given to exploration. Although relatively long lived they expanded quickly. Being a generous people, the tash kirel allowed them to have some of their land. In only a few short years they asked for more and, after some deliberation by the tribal elders it was granted although some had reservations about doing so. They were justified as it wasn’t long before a request came for even more land. This was teh true beginning of the conflict between the two species. The tash kirel couldn’t give them more and their technology demanded increasingly more raw materials.
At first the tash kirel traded resources for advanced medicines, fancy clothing, and other things they couldn’t make but they couldn’t meet what the raishuten perceived as their need. This led to conflicts and trade renegotiations. Time and time again until the tash kirel couldn’t take it anymore. That led to an all out civil war. When it was over, there was an inquiry by the reigning monarchs of the Auri'll'ye Hiilshadaar. In the end, most were exiled by the High Queen of Kinshei, Seialla, because of what she perceived to be evil magic being worked in our groups.
They could either accept their judgement and go into exile or allow their leaders to face punishment for inciting the civil war while those who fought were to be imprisoned or sent to live out their remaining days on one of Raiven’s smaller moons in solitude. While this might not seem so bad, the punishments for their leaders ranged from life imprisonment to execution and nearly two thirds of the able bodied adults were involved in the conflict in some way. To accept these punishments would have been the end of the species.
They were sent to a barely hospitable world and told they would meet swift and merciless death should they make any attempt to return to their ancestral home.
