SMOKE

The Sisterhood of Mercy, Order, Keepers, and Endurance is a cult of brain-washing psychics, some of whom are believed to be aliens, demons, or other, stranger monsters. The cult focuses on female servants, all of whom are brainwashed to become fanatics, and are considered a dangerous infection in any city they enter. Most heroes go into high gear the moment that they know SMOKE has been seen in the city, trying to root them out before their plans come to fruition.
SMOKE offered a fifty-million-dollar reward for the capture of Lilith. This was later raised to seventy-five million dollars.
