Portus

While individually the weakest member of the Guardians, Portus is one of the most invaluable members of the team due to the nature of his powers. Many other organizations and teams have attempted unsuccessfully to lure him away.

His relative weakness has led Portus to being rather modest and unassuming, but he basks in attention when he gets it, taking pride in being a member of one of the most well-known teams in the world.

Portus is considered a Class C superhuman.

Special abilities

Portus is able to create up to eight magical portals that allow one who steps into them to travel to any other, depending on which he last connected them to. These portals last indefinitely after he creates them, unless he chooses to deactivate them. As he has to be located near a point to create a portal, Portus has placed portals in Los Angeles, Seattle, Houston, Chicago, New York, and Miami. All of these portals are heavily guarded, but allow his team to rapidly respond to threats across much of the country when their assistance is requested. The remaining three portals are normally used for him to connect to other locations and for his personal protection.

Apparel & Accessories

Portus wears an armored suit with powered muscles for his personal protection, one which is colored a drab gray most of the time, though it changes if he's expecting to operate in environments where other colors would blend in better. He has a stun rifle as well, but doesn't use it often, as his team is usually more than enough to deal with threats. His equipment is built and maintained by Stalwart.
