LANCE

Standing for Legion Against National Criminals and Evildoers, LANCE was created by the United States as a response to the rise of superpowers. Not many of the early members survived their encounters with Destruction Corps. LANCE is composed of a small group of heroes who have enlisted as well as highly trained special forces equipped with high-tech weaponry and armor. It is more powerful than most military divisions by a large margin. Most people refer to the soldiers of LANCE as Lancers, and for the western United States they have a heavy rapid response division headquartered at Hill Air Force Base, with several hypersonic jets on standby, as well as a shuttle for orbital missions.
