Ebon Dragon

A seemingly ageless man of Chinese descent, Ebon Dragon is a noted villain, and one which many heroes have encountered over the years. Despite his average height, he is an intimidating person. His family cast him out after he sacrificed his wife as part of a ritual to increase the potency of his magic.
It isn't well known that his granddaughter is the hero Blooming Orchid, but enough heroes know that it isn't exactly a secret.

Ebon Dragon is particularly well-known as a mercenary who works for other villains, as well as his ruthless attitude, but he doesn't go out of his way to cause trouble, and when he makes a deal, he's known to honor it. His only pursuit seems to be increasing his personal strength, and he will work for anyone who offers him that opportunity so long as he believes they can be trusted to keep their side of the bargain.

Ebon Dragon is considered a powerful Class A superhuman.

Ebon Dragon is an unusual form of mage, as he mostly uses his magic to enhance his physical capabilities, though he also uses it to create dragon-themed energy bolts or to even fly. While he doesn't possess any innate boosts to his strength, speed, or toughness, Ebon Dragon has used ritual magic to improve his body in ways that few other magi can understand. Coupling his strength with a mastery of martial arts and a coldly analytical mind, the villain is far more dangerous than pure power would indicate.
