Fleet Admiral Azura Lorieux

Azura Lorieux was a war hero from the Siliconian War who later became Fleet Admiral of the Martian split of the GUSF. She married war hero Joseph Dando, her longtime subordinate.

Early Life

Azura was born on the Proxima Centauri B colony founded as part of the Global Union Twelve Colonies Project. Colony files show she had a difficult childhood, with her only sibling dying of leukemia. However, by the time she joined the space force for mandatory service as an adult, she demonstrated leadership aptitute and quickly rose in station to the rank of captain.

Siliconian War

During the May 4th Incident of the Siliconian War, Azura was infected by a queen-type Siliconian parasite. Eventually traveling to Sol and infiltrating the Global Union there, Azura participated in Operation Lazarus, a Siliconian attack on the GU union congress. Azura's humanity was only retrieved after she went through experimental surgery after being rescued by her future husband Joseph Dando, a fellow solider from Proxima B.
Azura was strongly rumored to have led legendary specialist military squad G-19-b during the later stages of the war, a unit supposedly made up of all Siliconian-infected humans.
