16 - Devils and Demons

General Summary

15th, The Melting, 2083 EC
The crew fought off two abyssal wretches. Zelgruxok was killed during the fight and sent back to the Hells. After the battle Erchyll summoned Mexinilgrothil. The crew then continued, deeper in to Castle Arethusa.
They came across Romain Algernon and The Fiend Lulvol locked in combat. Choosing to come to Romain's aid, they dispatched Lulvol.
The crew encountered Rikren Avrethi, the father of Sehssahtish. Rikren has flesh warped and Romain quickly killed him.
Eventually, the group came to a large chamber. Flesh and bone grew from the walls here. Inside the chamber there was some kind of portal, a demon known as a Sibriex and Sehssahtish herself. The Sibriew was restrained in chains.

Shokizu confronted Sehssahtish and challanged her to an honourable fight. Sehssahtish declined, instead inviting Shokizu to join her cause. Sehssahtish planned to use the Sibriex in some way to deal with her mother, Lady Avrethi Akinlor. Then, she would claim her mother's plan as her own - to release and control the Great Serpent, Dendar, from The Wandering Star.
Fighting broke out and Sehssahtish escaped through the portal. The restraints on the Sibriex gave way. It began to float forward and Shokizu heard a terrible voice in her mind: 'SUBMIT TO THE CORRUPTION'.
