12 - Sunset
General Summary
13th, The Melting, 2083 EC
The crew confronted and fought Molinth Ketrinn, who was possessed by Nizus the Fiend.
After a hard fought battle, where 5 members of the Lirimidium City Watch were killed, Molinth (Nizus) was defeated and Nizus was trapped in the infernal dagger that Orvivol had given to Erchyll.
The crew released a prisoner that Molinth had locked in the basement.
From Molinth the crew recovered gold, platinum, Molinth's Staff of Arcane Knowledge and the Record Of Observation by Liasatra Ketrinn & The Oracle Of Lost Souls. Erchyll also found a few Forgotten Crstals.
The city watch arrived and the crew explained the situation. After opening one of Molinth's chests that contained a number of dead bodies, the Warden agreed to let the crew go, but told them that The Kren'Sar could not leave the city until their investigation was over. The crew were also informed that The Custodian was unconcious in the infirmary somewhere below Velshar Plaza.
The undead New Leaf turned up at the Kren'Sar with a note from Xarkon. It demanded Xarkon's Skull Staff in exchange for Judgement. Sindril informed the Captain and the crew made a plan.
While waiting for the crew to arrive Xarkon and Judge talked and played a game of Beggar's Toss (which Judge won). Xarkon had been examining New Leaf's notes regarding the Wandering Star and told Judge that, according to that information, the star was due to crash in to Lirimidium on the 20th, in 7 days time.
Hiring some local mercanaries as backup, the crew met Xarkon at the Observatory and successfully traded the staff for Judge.
Hearing the news that the city was about to be struck by a falling star, the crew opted to leave as soon as possible. Mitch disguesed themself as a Warden and ordered the Kren'Sar to be released. Before anyone could challange that order, the Kren'Sar set sail at full speed, fleeing the city in to the sun set.
Chittering Elva contacted Mitch asking about New Leaf. Mitch told her that Xarkon had killed New Leaf and that the Custodian was dead.
