Hexapardus Marauder Species in Star Wars: Shards | World Anvil

Hexapardus Marauder

Born out of a combination of Sith science and genetic splicing, the hexapardus marauder is a genetic horror created by outlaw techs who are members of the Bloodsmith Raiders. The original intent was to create a biotech enhancement for Bloodsmith Raiders in their goals. Instead, they created a weaponized virus that will transmute a victim into an offshoot species with limited shapeshifting abilities.   But once the victim is infected, unless treated through genetic treatments, they are this species.

Biological Traits

In their 'normal' form, the hexapardus marauder looks like the species of the original victim of the transmutation virus. In their 'rage' form, the hexapardus shifts into a 2.5 meter tall, four-armed, near-human felinoid creature complete with fur, teeth, claws, and tail.   In this 'rage' form, they are still in command of language and other higher-order thinking, only its clouded with rage. Reasoning with a hexapardus is difficult at best as most attempts to negotiate is taken as a threat, which instigates an attack.

Culture and Heritage

Hexapardus are a young, new species to the galaxy. Because of that, their actual culture and actual ethnicities are still forming.
