Do You Want To Buy Some Power?
General Summary
I see I caught your attention! But no, not that kind of power! Starship power! Our heroes are trapped in space in a ship with no power...
- The newly purchased light cruiser is dead in space. As the group begins to investigate, the protocol droid reports that one of the loaned droids sent a strange message and is now not responding.
- Gridtok and Asha head out into the ship while Niwadi guards the bridge, and Tor'vir remains in engineering. They find a droid cut in half, apparently via lightsaber. Confused, they begin searching for a stowaway.
- Gridtok brings part of the droid to Niwadi who wants to see if she can fix it, and the door to the bridge slams shut, indicating there's power somewhere. Asha is attacked by a barely seen assailant with a lightsaber. Tor'vir is attacked by droids.
- Niwadi figures out a workaround and gets the door open so Gridtok can help fight. Some of the attackers appear to be holograms, which Asha destroys. Tor'vir continues to be attacked by droids. Niwadi gets the sensors running (using her datapad) and reports on what enemies she can find to the group over personal comms. She then goes to work on the lights so Asha can see what to hit.
- It seems there is a Knight of Reygar on the ship, setting traps and trying to kill everyone. His traps are effective against Gridtok. Niwadi hacks the protocol droid to send signals to the droid fighters and tries to shoot the Knight, but misses. Freaked by suddenly active droid ships and Gridtok still coming for him, the Knight of Reygar...jumps out of the hangar bay onto the hull.
- Tor'vir is badly hurt, so Asha goes to help him, while the Knight tries to stab Gridtok through the hull of the ship. Niwadi launches a fighter and sends it after the Knight, who jumps back into the ship. The Knight tries to push Gridtok out of the hangar bay, so Niwadi closes the bay doors. Asha makes it to Tor'vir who has vanquished his droid enemies and they return to help Gridtok. Tor'vir and Gridtok manage to subdue the Knight and put him in cell in the security room.
- The Knight tries to kill himself if left alone, so they move him to medical and keep watch. Tor'vir gets him talking. The Knight planned a purge of the Ronin Jedi by framing the group as terrorists, and watching the Light battle the Light. He has badly doctored holovid of the group making threats and destroying cities.
- There are just barely enough droids left to help fly the ship, although Niwadi is very cranky from flying the ship without enough crew by the time they arrive safely back to Torunga.
