The Galaxy – 15 years after the Clone Wars

Approximately 15 standard years after the end of the Clone Wars and the defeat of the Separatists

Relief and Hope: Many citizens feel relief that the Clone Wars have ended. The galaxy had been ravaged by years of conflict, so the cessation of hostilities is a welcome change. There’s was a sense of hope that peace and stability might finally return.

Grief and Mourning

The cost of the war was immense, with countless lives lost and many planets devastated. People mourned their loved ones and dealth with the aftermath of destruction on their homeworlds.

Confusion and Distrust

The sudden shift from the Republic to the Galactic Empire left many feeling confused and uncertain about the future. The rapid political changes and the mysterious and often secretive nature of the Empire's rise to power started to cause widespread distrust and unease.

Oppression and Fear

The formation of the Galactic Empire quickly led to the erosion of personal freedoms, with many feeling the heavy hand of Imperial rule. The rise of the Empire brought about a climate of fear

However, many liked the new Empire with its sweeping controls that they argued lead to better efficiencies and more opportunities. They were willing to sacrifice a few small freedoms for some comfort.

Resistance and Defiance

As the Empire tightened control of all aspects of life, rumors began to emerge of mass arrests of dissenters. Communications went dark for entire systems as the Empire activities became shrouded in mystery.

Refugees fleeing to the outer rim reported unspeakable atrocities of genocide and the devastation of entire planets through exhaustive mining.  Entire non-human populations were forcibly incarcerated to prison worlds.

Today…..
