The History of Star Wars Fall of the Republic and Rise of the Empire so far
The Rakata were an ancient race of force sensitives, but they utilized the force to build structures and weapons. They utilized other races during their most ancient forms as slaves or as they called them, builders, for their Infinite Empire. Eventually they were consumed by the dark side of the force, which corrupted them. A plague passed along the empire killing all those in it that were Rakata. Yet, some of their ancient technologies remain, unknown of their use and origin to the species of the galaxy.
Current Species & Cultures
There are a multitudes of species with different cultures and civilization types. Humans do inhabit most of the galaxy but even they are split into sub-species'.
Needs & Relations
Currently, each group of the civilized species are represented by a Senate in the Galactic Republic. Here they negotiate on what each planet needs, in terms of resources and security. There are thousands of races, too many to go over here.
