Capsule: Some people always think of a sector for its prime industry, a manufacturing sector, or a trade sector, or a mining sector, however, this is always an oversimplification. Every sector is a diverse group of systems, with planets fulfilling every role imaginable. Like many sectors that are known for some other industry, agricultural planets are the lifeblood of the Kanzi Sector. Without them, the sector would starve. Nyaza was one of these near the end of the clone war. However, in the closing days of that war, a droid army descended on the world and devastated it. Short on Jedi and clone troopers, the Republic hired a human mercenary, Jaa Alcyorn, to relieve the planet. With the fall of the Republic, the mercenary saw his chance and seized the planet from the relatively simple Noli bushmen who lived there, naming himself dictator. Before he arrived, the droids had managed to devastate the planet. He seized the only remaining city and has been expanding his reach outwards ever since.
The planet has a rather strange landscape. Its heavy gravity makes the surface uninhabitable, with atmospheric pressures that are lethal to most species. However, the planet is covered in large buttes that rise high enough to be in atmosphere that is survivable. General Alcyorn has been bringing in the Noli from the outlying buttes with promises of jobs. What the Noli do not know is that as they come in, they are enslaved, and new, off world Human settlers move out to claim their lands, setting up huge plantations. Some of the Noli have stolen swoops and speeder bikes and have begun raiding the convoys moving between the plantations. As long as General Alcyorn continues to provide slaves to the Empire,
Moff Hax is quite willing to let him run his little farming planet. A KDY Class IV container ship calls at the planet each month to collect the next shipment of slaves. As for system security, General Alcyorn maintains that with his mercenary army on the ground and his small squadron of 3 Ubrikkian Custom Destroyers. The Empire does maintain a single Tenloss Orbital Customs Platform with its standard complement of T.I.E. Fighters and shuttles. They make customs inspections in the system.
