Sith Empire

The Sith Empire was a mighty, authoritarian state run by the Sith. Though it relatively recently controlled much of the Galaxy, the Empire succumbed to infighting and collapsed, allowing the Galactic Republic to restore its hold over the Galaxy. As of 1020BBY, the Sith Empire is thought to be destroyed, with no Sith surviving.
