Power of Majesty and/or Might
The Primal is the ascendant Emperox of dragons and dragon kin. The Primal is typically presented as a combination of all lineages of dragons, sometimes as a single lineage, or even as an individual dragonborn or draconian being. Regardless of the representation, a sense of majesty and might radiates from their shrines and holy objects.
Since the great silence of Krynn, small groups of displaced draconians have formed in several nearby wildspace ports. These are often lead by Sivaks or Auraks, and have taken to worshipping the Primal in place of their original creator, Takhisis. As dragons in other systems have often taken humanoid form, this has lead to a prevalence of dragonborn and dragonblood sorcerors in the spelljamming community, particularly those that claim to be descendant of radiant, solar, or lunar dragons.
Those that are not ‘of the blood’ (as The Primals followers put it) that pay homage to The Primal are seeking might of arms or intellect, majesty of glamour or body, or even just raw magical power. Many arcanists pay tribute to The Primal when casting elemental spells, particularly in systems where local myths link specific dragon lineages or personalities to array of elements employed by spellcasters.
The churches of The Primal are not exclusively ‘of the blood’, but do tend to be a majority of dragonborn, dragonblood, or other dragon-kin. In some systems these churches include lizardfolk and kobolds, who locally attribute their own lineages or magic to the majesty of ancient dragons.
