The Dealer
Alignment Tendency: LN CN or TN, with good tendencies
Domains: Death 2014
Symbol: A laughing skull with large jagged tusks either side of a thin mouth
Power of Absurdity and Self Responsibility. An jovial archfey patron of death, the Dealer enjoys making bargains with mortals, often for their souls or to have them work as his agents. Though he has few formal group followings, he is known to 'collect' tainted souls for ironic punishment and redemption in his afterlife. Scuttle has that some sailors near death in wildspace or the astral sea have bargained with the dealer to live on, either at the cost of changing their ways or ‘recruiting’ others to his afterlife. Unwitting recruits are guided to a redemption by acting against their vices in life - be it by hunting murderers if they were violent, by feeding the poor and homeless if they were rich, or in some other form of self-defacing act based on their former lives. The dealer appears to individuals without any others seeing him, and none hear his voice that he does not wish.
