Specialist: Assassin

Recruit DC: 25 Retainer: 1,500 gp Wage: 25 gp/day   While this NPC is an active, unwounded member of your crew or organisation, once per facility or bastion turn you may task them to assassinate someone nearby. The DM makes a d20 roll with a modifier of the Assassin's proficiency bonus. The DM will determine the difficulty of the assassination and the outcome. A critical success will generally result in the assassination being so subtle it appears the target died of natural causes, but conversely the DM may judge that a critical success is not an automatic success when sending an assassin - there are some targets that are far harder to kill.   Employing and/or using an assassin may cause difficulty with the local authorities, and is generally considered an 'evil' action at worst, a 'neutral' neccessity at best.   Proficiencies: Stealth, Deception, Poisoner’s Kit, Disguise Kit
