Officers' Lounge

Prerequisite: Level 9, base cost 2,500 gp.   Facility Rating: 3 (Roomy, 12 Squares)   Supply: 1 Luxury   Action: Recruit (character with Intimidation or Persuasion proficiency), Trade (crew member with loyalty 10+ and Intimidation or Persuasion proficiency, or character with Intimidation or Persuasion proficiency)     An Officer’s Lounge is a contained area of tables, chairs, couches, a bar, and some space for objects of art and decoration.  
Crew Access
While your vessel has an active Officers Lounge when you attempt to recruit non-specialist crew you may reroll the d20, but must use the new roll.  
Proficiency
When you perform a Trade action on the facility, If you are not proficient with Intimidation or Pursuasion make a Charisma check against DC 15; if successful you gain proficiency with Intimidation or Pursuasion.  
Recruit Options
When you use the Recruit Action with this facility, you perform the Recruit: Specialist action:   Recruit: Specialist. When you make a Recruit Action with this facility, you may choose to attempt to recruit a Specialist. For more details on Specialists, see Crew.  
Trade Options
When you use Trade Action with this facility, choose one of the following options:   Trade: Gambling Hall. You turn the Officer’s Lounge into a gambling hall for a day and host various gambling events for your crew. Roll 1d100, add your charisma score, and consult the following table to determine the house’s winnings.  
  Trade: Elite Event. To perform this action you must have renown 10+ with a Port Authority at a settlement where your vessel is currently docked; or that is in one hour range for two or more shuttles docked on your vessel; or your vessel must also have an active Teleportation Circle that has not been used during this Vessel Facility Turn (which then cannot be used during this Vessel Facility Turn).   You turn the Officer’s Lounge into a gambling hall for a day and host various gambling events for nobles and honoured guests from the settlement. Roll 1d100, add your charisma score, and consult the following table to determine the house’s winnings.  
  Additionally, make a performance check against DC 5 + the level of renown with the settlement. If you succeed, the level of renown with the settlement increases by one.
