General Feat (Prerequisite: Level 4+, proficiency with Navigator's Tools)
You gain the following benefits.
Ability Score Increase. Increase your Intelligence, or Wisdom score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
Plotting the Course. When planning a cruising course for a spelljamming ship, you are an expert at identifying, cataloguing, and in some cases using the gravity wells of spatial anomalies and objects to shave some time off your ships travel time. When you plot a course for a spelljamming vessel, you spend an hour of time and make a proficiency check using Navigator’s Tools against DC 15. If you succeed, you reduce the duration of the journey by 10%.
Scope. During vessel combat you may take the study action with a set of Navigator’s Tools while standing on the deck of or in the crow’s nest of a spelljamming vessel to make a proficiency check (DC 15 + 3 for each opposing vessel after the first). On a success you can take a bonus action to take the help action and give the pilot of your vessel either heroic advantage, or +2 to their next piloting roll.
