Originally a Krynnish gnome, Lovelace (whose full name begins Adearachievementloveisthefeelingofinterlacingpatternsformingcognitiveflowthatleadstonewdiscoveryandrefinementofidea…) is said to have been an artificer testing hybridised magic-mechanical teleportation at the precise time that Krynn fell silent, and followers of Jove and Bez theorise the sheer amount of power erupting on the world interfered with her device and push her upon the godhead.
Certainly, the church of Lovelace seems miraculous in comparison with the infamy of her origins at Mount Nevermind, as the clergy regularly perform what would be considered terrifying miracles among the tinker gnomes of ansalon - inventions that regularly work as designed.
Siege engineers, artificers, alchemists, and dock workers reliant on technology are among those that have begun to pay homage to Lovelace on a daily basis.
