A silvery mist is said to enticingly caress Hana’s victims before the eyes flash red, the mist turns to black, and their screams are drowned by the archfey’s unhinged giggling. Some claim to have glimpsed Hana in their dreams, and claim she is a voluptuous and beautiful woman, and that she is trapped in a four-eyed mask of fey power. Those that admire her spectral beauty claim she can be free of the masks domination for a time only when embraced by a lover, and never by the same person twice. More than one sailor has whispered of freeing her of the mask before jumping the rail of a ship to their doom. Homage is paid to Hana by slavers and slaves alike, the former seeking her power, the latter begging to be free of it.
