Eladrin, Wildspace

The eladrin are a distant offshoot of elves, who adopted the Feywild adjacent to Wildspace as their home. After centuries of exposure to that plane's magic, they acquired supernatural abilities not seen on most of their kin from the Prime Material plane and were effectively transformed into fey.

An eladrins appearance changes to coincide with the seasons of their home, regardless of their distance from it. During summer an eladrins skin might be yellow and their eyes glowing with light, during winter their skin may take a grey hue and their hair may be white, during spring their skin is caucasian shot through with veins of green and small flowers may grow in their hair, and in autumn they take on a muted palette of browns and dark greens. The eladrin of wildspace call this their emanance.

Regardless of this seasonal change, each eladrins personality can be seen in their emanance. An eladrin quick to temper may have a fiery pattern to their skin in summer, and lightning behind their eyes in winter. A calm eladrins hair may float as if in a soft breeze. A curious eladrins eyes may sparkle, or even glow when they become excited.

Eladrin, Wildspace Traits

As a wildspace eladrin, you have these special traits.
Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of yourself as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You discern colors in that darkness only as shades of gray.
Fey Ancestry. You have advantage on saving throws you make to avoid or end the charmed condition on yourself.
Keen Senses. You have proficiency in the Perception skill.
Feywild Step. As a bonus action, you can magically teleport up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space you can see. You can use this trait a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Fey Trance. You don’t need to sleep, and magic can’t put you to sleep. You can finish a long rest in 4 hours if you spend those hours in a trancelike meditation, during which you remain conscious.
Emanance. Your appearance shifts between four seasonal variants, and each comes with exaggerated emotional states and a natural resistance to a damage type. See the Emanance Effects table.
