DAD Blocks
DAD blocks are a visual representation of each player character, creature, or vessels current hit points. They are cubes placed in front of each player, face up in view of the DM.
DAD blocks have one red face, one (or more) yellow face(s), and one green face. While above 66% (or two thirds) of maximum hit points, a DAD block should be green face up, and if a creature it is considered healthy. While above 33% and at or equal to 66% maximum hit points, a DAD block should be yellow face up, and if a creature it is considered wounded. While at 33% or less hit points, a DAD block should be red face up, and if a creature it is considered critically wounded.
Small numbered DAD blocks are used by the DM to visually represent the damage status of most creatures, and are numbered to assist with tracking and targetting. They are placed as close as possible to the relevant model.
DAD blocks were hand painted and numbered by John Masson for use with the game.
