Chirpe
Chirpe are often mistaken for winged kobolds or even imps, due to their wings, pointed ears and diminutive size, but they are humanoid descendants of batfolk. Favouring cave systems, they found a natural niche in wildspace among asteroid fields, where their wings allow them to outmaneuver their ecological competition.
Most chirpe are vegetarian, by choice rather than any evolutionary drive. In some areas of wildspace this helps avoid unpleasantness as they may otherwise be associated with vampirates and worshippers of Lilith, but they are skilled asteroid gardeners and simply enjoy the produce their society creates more than any meat product.
Chirpe colonies are usually immense gardens inside hollow asteroids, sometimes artificially spun up by sails for light to medium gravity. They trade extensively with other locals, forming solid long term partnerships, but are wary of outsiders within their own villages.
Many chirpe worship The Embrace, Sterog, or local Incarnations. Occasional chirpe become adventurers and explore wildspace and the astral sea with a keen sense of wonder, and many of those pay homage to Hull, the wayfinder. Their spatial awareness makes them keen pilots and navigators, and their ability to tend gardens is renowned amongst crews who have the room for fresh grown produce.

Size: Small (about 3–4 feet tall)
Speed: 30 feet, fly 45 feet.
As a chirpe, you have these special traits.
Excellent Hearing. You have advantage on any proficiency check that relies on hearing.
Blindsight. You have Blindsight, and can see within 120 feet without relying on physical sight. Within that range, you can see anything that isn’t behind Total Cover even if you have the Blinded condition or are in Darkness. Moreover, in that range, you can see something that has the Invisible condition.
Green Thumb. When you use the Harvest action on a Garden or Greenhouse Bastion Facility, or a Hydroponics Bay or Advanced Hydroponics Bay Ship Facility, you harvest an additional amount of goods.
Quick and Nimble. You do not provoke attacks of opportunity.
