Cargo as Loot

Whenever a social or combat encounter indicates a vessel with unknown cargo, the following tables can be used to generate it.
The first tables are based on the Vessel Role. First the Vessel Cargo Load Table is used to identify how much of the vessels potential cargo space has been used. The Cargo Type by Vessel Role Table is then used to roll cargo types in 5 ton lots (or less, if required). Lastly, for randomise the rarity of each lot by rolling a d6, and consulting the column based upon the current tier of play on the Cargo Table.
As with any random loot table, the DM should feel free to reroll, or simply decide what is present if they see fit. For detailed descriptions of cargo, see Cargo Rules and Types
