Lunar Echo

Lunar Echo is basically the same spell as the electric Storm Echo, but with the magical infusion of pure lunar magic rather than Leray magic or dark magic. Unlike dark magic, it is mostly impossible or excessively rare for any existing Leray spell to be converted by format to lunar magic. Storm Echo happens to be one of the few exceptions in this case. When used, the wielder actually invokes pure lunar magic while creating the spell's variant of Storm Echo from memory. The effects generate a fixed number of 18 glyphrings that should be electric, but actually form using lunar magic connections, causing them to echo out a tremendous amount of detectable ME. When all 18 glyphrings form to surround the target, they unleash a barrage of bright blue lightning strikes. Contrary to what it looks like, the effects of electrocution are only simulated. The damage that is done is through a destructive barrage of pulses through these narrow lightning beams, which can heat up and blast open any object or person with ease.

The use of all lunar magic has life-shortening effects on the body, or fatal consequences to the mind and body for anyone who does not have lunastasis. For the target, real time damage will occur.

Manifestation

Anyone who has seen Storm Echo will recognize this variant immediately. Most of the spell's attack pattern is exactly the same. Only the coloration, intensity, luminosity, power level, and magic format of the spell are different. Despite what this ability may look like, there is no Electric Elemental Magic involved.
