Light Infusion Orb

Elemental Infusion orbs are technically spell bombs, but do not behave as such because the use of their auras are not exactly spells. They are however still designed only to work during a Leray battle. The Light Infusion Orb works by scanning the wielder's primary weapon and coating its ammunition or attack source with an aura of light-elemental magic. That weapon can then for a brief duration inflict multi-elemental and non-elemental magical damage when physical contact is made to the opponent. It simulates for example the Light Blade spell for sword holders, or adds Light attributes to the bullets of a sub-machine gun. Light elemental magic is rare, so these orbs are very powerful.
This use of this orb also creates a thin white aura of protection around the user, reducing all incoming light-elemental damage they receive by 50% for the same duration the effects last. This orb cost 10% MP energy from the wielder to activate.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

This spell bomb is based on aura connection which links directly to certain physical weapons, thus it does not use the idea of breaking the glass to activate. Users who smash or break the glass of this object will destroy it forever. However, the material used to hosue the crystal is very difficult to break.

Significance

Light Elemental magic in terms of damage inflicts all of the elements including Non-elemental magical damage to opponets. There are very few spells that can pull this off, but these orbs take that light element and infuse it into the damage of physical weapons, creating a unique situation that greatly powers up the wielders who use them.
If that weren't enough, the protection it provides from all the elements of magic at the same time is something most spells cannont provide for the cheap invocation price of 10% MP.

Light Infusion Orbs are incredibly difficult to produce. They offer such a wide variety of benefits in many situations, explaining their expensive price. Despite this, Light Infusion Orbs are in very high demand. Thre just aren't enough high-level mages willing to mass produce these objects.
