A Guide on how to control thunder and storms, given to you by the Sky Council. Storm magic is one of the hardest types of sky magic to learn. There are many things to consider when wanting to learn this. One is your physical state. To put it bluntly, not everyone can use this magic due to height, illnesses, or injuries. People over 6ft3 will not be able to practice this magic, as it is a surefire way of injury. You can't use this subsect of magic if you are injured or ill. With that out of the way, let's get into how to control storms and thunder. You will want to start with just the clouds from a storm, getting a feel for how they act. Storm clouds are wild and uncontrolled. When magic is applied to them, it often causes an outburst. You will have to keep free of any negative emotions to control the cloud. Wait until a natural storm has formed for this. Once comfortable, you can try turning a regular cloud into a storm cloud. You will have to remember what a storm cloud feels like and try to twist the cloud into that. Once you have learned how to control the cloud you can move on to controlling the thunder that comes out of it. When wanting to control thunder, you have to keep a clear mind, focusing only on the lightning, the cloud, the sound, and the target. If you allow your mind to wander, you will likely have to take a trip to the medical house. Think of how the lightning moves and how the thunder after it sounds. Think of the trip to the target and act. Move your body with the lighting and feel the current flowing through you. Do not attempt another spell until the lightning is fully absent. Failure to follow these steps and follow safety can result in injury or even death. We advise that when learning this magic have a mentor or at LEAST someone near you. The Sky Council hopes you have a great day and make sure to practice safely.
