Alabaster Unicorn

Alabaster unicorns are natural born healers and skilled empaths. They are naturally inclined towards helping others and thus are a welcome sight in many places, especially in areas where access to medical help is difficult. Though they can be overbearing and even somewhat controlling, alabaster unicorns do have a great need to help others and rarely charge more for their abilities than what they need to survive.   They are not inclined to violence, but will defend themselves if they must. If they are with allies, they will prefer to act as support, but can turn their knowledge of anatomy into a deadly weapon if needed.

Anatomy

Alabaster unicorns have an equine body, with a twirled white horn. Their body is covered is short, white fur, with a creamy mane. Thier hooves has an almost pearly complexion to them.   Alabaster unicorns posess great innate healing magic, which seeps into anything they touch. Even something as simple as bandages soothes pains and quickly seal wounds when applied by these natural born healer. Their defensive aura also varies from other unicorns, capable of becoming supercharged should they be in serious danger. When thus empower, it not only protect against magic, but also wards of physical strikes.

Genetics and Reproduction

Unicorns procreate through sexual intercourse between males and females. Pregnancy last typically about three seasons.

Alabaster unicorn foals can walk minutes after being born. Their minds mature over the course of the next year and they can usually speak after the first year. They then continue to grow in size over the years, being considered adults at 14-15 years old.

Alabaster unicorns are native to the open plains, where the well-developed senses can keep them safe. They eat a variety of plants and the passage of their herds helps keep the planes open. Their lack of camouflage is compensated for by their magical abilities.
