The Tears of Selûne are a cluster of celestial objects, such as small moons or asteroids, that orbit the planet Toril in Realmspace. Named after the goddess Selûne, who represents the moon and light, these objects are often visible in the night sky, trailing behind Toril's main moon. In the lore, they are sometimes regarded as divine tears shed by Selûne during her cosmic battles with her sister, Shar, the goddess of darkness.
