Points of Interest
Fuoco
Fuoco is the "sun" of the Hurikami system -- an actual portal to the elemental plane of Fire, from which come efreet and djinn, dragons and massive elementals the way beaches draw tourists.
Ishtar
Not far from Fuoco is Ishtar, a smaller portal to the Eternal Chaos that orbits Fuoco. Frequent battles between creatures from Fire and creatures from Chaos light up the Brimir field with dramatic light shows.
Kokou
Making the inner orbits of the Hurikami system just that much more exciting and dangerous is the "roving hunger" Kokou, a small black hole that orbits Fuoco. Kokou sucks in anything foolish or unlucky enough to get within 20,000 miles, even the light and heat of Fuoco, creating a moving eclipse effect.
Brimir Field
The Brimir field is a field of gas and other particles that distorts and refracts the light coming from Fuoco and the other sources in the inner rings. The field is dangerous to travel through at Spelljamming speeds, and since nothing beyond is considered safe, few dare to try to find paths through.
Petro Belt
The petro belt is a ring of asteroids that lines the outer edges of the Brimir field. The asteroids were a haven for pirates and criminals, but have been invaded by the Neogi, who control about 1/3 of the ring at this point. They are using the belt to send asteroids crashing into Hurikami, devastating the dwarven planet surface.
Himavanta
A tiny arboreal planet of awakened animals, Himavanta was considered backwards and quaint by the Hurikami. The Neogi are harvesting slaves from the surface as the Himavanta Beasts are not organized enough to put up much resistance.
Hurikami
A primarily dwarven world, where the Hurikami culture and people were once a proud and successful people. In recent years they have been decimated and driven underground by the incessant bombardment of the surface by Neogi-driven asteroids from the Petro belt.
The Quartet
A ring of four moons called the Soldier, the Smith, the Farmer, and the Sage. by the Hurikami. These moons were treated as minor gods by the hurikami before they were able to travel to the stars. Now each sports a small settlement of Hurikami and others. The Neogi focus has been primarily on the homeworld, but Nightspiders do raid the moons from time to time.
The Trinity
A ring of three moons called the father, the mother, and the daughter, these moons are also home to small settlements of outsiders and Hurikami.
