Hurikami Culture

The Hurikami are a blend of classic dwarven fantasy and Japanese culture.  So, these are dwarves who use katana and wakizashi instead of hammer and axe, they have Japanese-sounding names and fashion. 

 

At the same time, they live in a world that is steeped in divine and arcane magic, not science.  The “sick bay” of The Yamato is a temple, and the advent of the dragon Yamato suggests that these dwarves worship Bahamut, not Moradin. What would be the engineering spaces on the Battleship Yamato are the libraries and workshops of the wizards and artificers of the Yamato’s crew.
